1 O Lord, the cGod of my salvation,
I have dcried out by day and in the night before You.
2Let my prayer ecome before You;

3For my gsoul has
Or been satisfied with

And imy life has drawn near to
I.e. the nether world

4I am reckoned among those who kgo down to the pit;
I have become like a man lwithout strength,
5
Lit A freed one among the dead
Forsaken namong the dead,
Like the slain who lie in the grave,
Whom You remember no more,
And they are ocut off from Your hand.
6You have put me in pthe lowest pit,
In qdark places, in the rdepths.
7Your wrath shas rested upon me,
And You have afflicted me with tall Your waves.
